Check if a mechanic repaired it. If so, ask them how much torque they applied to the cylinder head. To save time before starting the engine, check that the radiator is at the correct level. Once it's at the correct level, start the engine without the radiator cap. Once it reaches operating temperature, check if water is leaking from the radiator, as if compression is escaping or air is overflowing. If so, you have a problem with a poorly checked cylinder head or your mechanic didn't apply the correct torque. Another thing you can check is the spark plugs. If one is reddish, it means water is entering that cylinder and the combustion chamber.
