Audi Service has created a free service that allows customers to pay their vehicle inspection fee and forget about all the paperwork and procedures. The service includes a pre-inspection and analysis of the vehicle, as well as transportation to the inspection station, handling all the necessary procedures. Customers only need to pay the fees and pick up their vehicle at an authorized Audi dealership or service center.
The new service includes a completely free pre-MOT check. This will involve a thorough vehicle inspection, analyzing the same checkpoints that will be checked during the official MOT test.
The inspection begins with an exterior check, including the bodywork, signaling, and lighting system. This is followed by a check of the safety components (brakes, steering, front and rear axles, suspension, chassis, and engine).
In the event that any anomaly is detected in the pre-MOT inspection, this service also
offers a discount of at least 10% on spare parts, should
any repairs be necessary.
Once the Audi Service team has inspected the vehicle and corrected any issues, they will take it to the vehicle inspection station (ITV) for the technical inspection. Audi will handle all the paperwork, including scheduling the inspection, so the customer doesn't have to worry about a thing.
Audi is launching this campaign after the Spanish Directorate General of Traffic found that 6.2% of vehicles on Spanish roads had not undergone the required inspection, or had not rectified the defects detected during the inspection.
