The new Volvo FL and Volvo FMX now have a crew cabin for firefighters, rescue equals or technical assistance.

The Volvo FL with crew cabin is designed for vehicles with maximum technically authorized (mmTA) mass of up to 16 tons. The cabin offers space for up to seven people. Its low access and the 90º doors opening angle facilitate access. The Volvo FL is very versatile and is available in two motorizations, two different steering sizes and numerous heights of chassis.

For its part, the Volvo FMX with crew cabin is designed for the heaviest and most demanding tasks. Thus, the Volvo FMX with crew cabin is available in 4x2 and 4x4 version. His cabin is also prepared for 6 passengers, but also has pneumatic suspension. On the other hand, its interior has been designed to be easily cleaned.

As for the design details, the Volvo FMX rear steps are retractable. In addition, the door handle is yellow, so it is easy to see in any condition, and interior lighting has also been improved.

Both vehicles have European approval and are prepared for the factory for a simple float.

- For MMTA from 18 tons

- Available in basic versions with 4x2 or 4x4 settings.

- Cabin space for up to six people

- Pneumatic cabin suspension, vinyl upholstery, 90º doors opening angle, retractile steps in the rear.

- Motors: Volvo D11 Euro 6 with 330–450 hp.

- Transmission: Automatic Volvo PowerTronic, Volvo I-Shift or Manual.
