GTD "Gran Turismo Diesel" is the long distance sports of the Golf . The German brand wanted to combine in this model, the image of a GTI with very small consumption, thanks to its new 2.0 TDI Bluemotion Technology engine.

Volkswagen presents the new Golf GTD . With 135 kW/184 hp, a motor pair of up to 380 Nm, a reduced average consumption of 4.2 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of only 109 g/km. In front of the previous model, additional 14 CVs have been achieved, 30 nm more torque, a consumption reduction of 0.9 l/100 km and an improved emission rate at 25 g/km CO2. Volkswagen offers the GTD optionally with a double clutch change (DSG); Also in this case a consumption of only 4.5 l/100 km (CO2: 119 g/km) is achieved. Both variants of the new golf gearbox GTD allow the European Standard on Euro 6 emissions to be complied with, which will enter into force in 2014.

The new Golf GTD will arrive in our market in the month of June. This sports car includes Bi-Xenon lights and LED rear lights, also LED environmental lighting with the XDS+ improved gear dynamic function, active direct direction, sports chassis (reduced in 15 mm) and 17-inch wheels ("curitiba" type) with 225 tires. This combination translates into exceptional performance and maneuverability.

The new Golf GTD is available from 31,000 euros.
