Mazda challenges the market trend with Mazda 6E , an electric shock that refuses to sacrifice driving pleasure. Based on a new platform and sophisticated design, this model is intended to be the flagship of the new Mazda electric era.
Platform and dimensions
Built on the new EPA1 platform , Mazda 6E is a Berlin of generous dimensions. It measures 4.92 meters long and 1.89 meters wide, with a wide battle of 2.89 meters that guarantees a large interior space. One of its most relevant technical characteristics is its rear propulsion , a decision that underlines the search for dynamic and pure behavior, faithful to brand philosophy. The trunk offers a capacity of 466 liters .
Design and technology on board
The exterior design is an evolution of Kodo language, with a fluid silhouette, an elongated hood and a soft roof fall that gives it an air of Coupé. The tires are always 19 inches. Inside, Mazda has focused on the quality of materials and technology. Highlights the aluminum or suede finishes and an advanced infotainment system compatible with Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
The technology extends to connectivity through the Mazda 6E app , which allows you to remotely control the air locking, the battery charge and even use the smartphone as a digital key.
Versions and autonomy
Mazda 6e is launched with two motorization options, both rear propulsion:
- Standard version: equipped with a 258 hp and an LFP (lithium-cherrophosphate) battery of 68.8 kWh . It offers an autonomy of up to 479 km (WLTP) and a fast charging up to 165 kW, allowing you to go from 10% to 80% in 24 minutes.
- Version of great autonomy (Long Range): 245 hp engine and an NCM (nickel, cobalt, manganese) battery of 80 kWh . Autonomy extends to 552 km (WLTP). The fast charging power in this version is up to 200 kW.
320 Nm motor torque and reach a maximum speed of 175 km/h. The acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h is very similar in both, around 7.6-7.8 seconds.
