Volkswagen launches two new versions of its pick-up: the Amarok Simple cabin and the yellow canyon . With these two novelties, Volkswagen adjusts and optimizes its equipment, to adapt to more users.
Simple cabin Amarok offers a greater load space . This model is aimed at professionals in rural areas and difficult to access. In this version, the length of the load compartment is 65 cm greater, and becomes 2,205 mm with a total area of 3.57 m2. The suspensions of this model have been reinforced, taking into account that it supports more load than the double cab versions, and the available motorizations are efficient and savers. These are the already known TDI engines of 140 and 180 hp, combined with a manual gearbox and two possible, rear and 4Motion connectable tractions.
For its part, the Amarok Canyon is aimed at extreme sports lovers , both mountain and beach. This variant, which is offered with the double cab body, is equipped with the powerful 180 hp 2.0 TDI engine, combined with both manual and 8 -speed automatic change.
Amarok Canyon premieres a new coppery orange , which enhances its sportier image. It also incorporates 17 -inch "rock" tires, darkened rear headlights, the strokes, the rear bars and rear bumpers painted bright black, as well as some widened wheel steps that give it a more muscular image.
The Canyon has the tapered seats with bicolor design and decorative seams, and also in the steering wheel and knob of the gear change lever with seams in a characteristic orange color. The ceiling support with four additional headlights and the capotas and covered for the box complete its optional equipment.
