Blazer radiator foam published by Manual-Mecanica
:( Hello if someone helps me, discovered white creamy foam with coffee color in the radiator of my blazer, and the transmission does not work, can it be a transmission oil leakage by the radiator circuit? The radiator carries a transmission oil circuit, and the motor temperature does not pass 95%, the radiator had refrigerant, help xfavor, clarify my doubts ...

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: Blazer radiator foam
Greetings Machonegro, effectively the transmission oil passes through a pipe most of copper times by one of the radiator tanks in order to refrigerate it. When binding with the water, it creates that sparkling appearance and as a coffee, the serious damage is for the box, as well as the oil to the radiator, the water gets into the box and it is in Park if the engine is on continues to circulate inside the box, do not use the vehicle plus, repair the damage of the radiator and among the many things send to check the box, change the oil and if there is any method to clean it, as it is done to clean it. If you read the transmissions oil specifications have additives such as antioxidants and antispuming, they are the effects that should be avoided for proper functioning and durability of the transmission.

Thanks Walfi, that is what I was afraid, I had everything to make the replacement, the filter, only the oil was missing, dexron III, and this happened to me .. I suppose that the carter of the transmission should have had and drain all the bad oil of the box ??? I read that to drain all the oil you have to put the contact, and pass all the different marches, r, n, (d), d, 2.1 ... so that the valves will have and out all the oil .. the same when you put the new oil ,, .. : HUH:

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: Blazer radiator foam
Greetings, if something like that, and you have to drain the oil that remains in the torque converter (here they tell you turbine) that also houses enough oil (it can have several liters there), there are machines that do that, but the Creole way is to disconnect one of the hoses of the transmission that goes to the radiator, place a container at both ends, of some of the two will come out the oil when the oil (Obviously prior to having taken the old oil from the carter), being in Park turns on the engine without accelerating it and observes the oil that comes out (at one of the two ends that you disconnected you will come out the transmission oil), when you see that the clean oil comes out (bright red as new) you turn off the engine and reconnect the hose to the radiator, with this processes you take out the oil from the turbine. On YouTube there are several videos that better illustrate the process, write on YouTube "Change Oil Transmission".
