Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: IAC Valve
Friends have a tangle in all this, the IAC valve, step by step, or Rerenti regulator is all the same thing, there are different types of this actuator is the most common that is of the Bosh type that is the one of the enough one that enters and leaves, this has a complete route of 8 millimeters it regulates the computer and the correct installation form for this specific type Approx, then you open the contact for about 15 seconds, you close it 15 seconds, you open it again 15 seconds and you close it 15 seconds, this operation is repeated about three or four times in the last day the Arranke and this is already done, this is done in VW, Fiat, Chevrolet, Daywwod and all the ones have this guy,

then the Ford regulator comes, which is different because it works in low and also regulates it, it also regulates it. Ford and prostage is basically the same. Only it works differently since it is a type of membrane that moves slightly is almost impersipible to the human hat.

And then it is the one that uses Hyndai that is a menbrane that opens a ahujero in this case is commanded by water temperature and works based on it. Displaying directly to the real temperature of the vehicle this type is affected when the temperature sensor or NTC sensor is in poor condition.

Anyway, it is difficult for a scanner to throw this type of failure since being an actuator and not a sensor the computer does not read its brother except in the case of Fiat and Nissan Ke if it is diagnosed by the computer.

However, the problem of high acceleration in relief more than in the game and when the vehicle stops in a semaphor or eskina, it can be available to many factors being one of the most common the poor state of the clutch disc, false air inputs, air filter in poor condition or air inlets after flijometro no of the MAP.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: IAC Valve
With all due respect, Kikemec.
The IAC valve and step by step, are not the same thing for more than their function is the same (keep the RPM in idle).
The step by step, it is as you describe in your comment that positions a rod that closes or opens the air passage as it suits, also in the Monomotronic of Bosch a direct current engine is used (not step by step). That usually acts on the butterfly stop.
What you describe as a Ford System, is what is technically called IAC valve, this system although it was popular by the EECIV of Ford, is also found in Hitachi teams and in some Sagem of Renault.
The one who uses Hyunday, is not a idle control system, is an RPM compensator per temperature.
This type of element has practically fallen in disuse, mainly because it is a mechanical device and that the ECU cannot act on it, it is a legacy of the old K-Jetronic.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: IAC Valve
hahaha you are correct Nizome, but those descriptions are particularly specific to people who handle relatively mechanical agreements, you should put yourself in the case that the people who ask do not save this, if you tell them that they are different things you generate a confusion and no longer save what to do, so we generalize and desimin He manages that level of concept, in any case this correct one says but you should make it easier for users. In any case, the correction and data were appreciated, greetings and an abrasus.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: IAC Valve
Thank you for answering all my doubts since I am only a rookie in this and they do not teach it in the institute but this is won over time which I try to learn based on databases and readings with fundamentals, what I have replaced is only based on databases that I have collected for a long time and help, but it would be appreciated if they have some more information since it is of my interest to learn more (which I like) to be able to deliver good diagnoses with good diagnoses. that help me in this (in addition to tools that is also fundamental).
Any information is appreciated
thanks
to Kikemec and Nizome for the answers of the: Laugh: : Laugh: B)
Consulta forum, how can I upload some workshop manuals for this page that I have that are very useful for a good job in the mechanics area?

Kikemec.

You are right, since your explanation was clear and precise, and the only thing Nizome did was confuse me, but it replicates it is fabulous, then, it makes it clear that you know about the subject, even more, you made me save me a wool to pay the mechanic.

I will take the steps you point out and I will be making you known the result.

My car is a 2001 Pointer Wagon, and I had never hit me with this revolutions per minute (RPM).

GREETINGS.

Nizome, with the respect you deserve, I think that all you did was confuse people, then, mortals as a server, we do not know in depth the topics, definitions, details and/or language of the automotive mechanics, however, your comment is good since it gave rise to soak me more on the subject so that, in the end, to make a decision of "" to whom I pay attention to you "
