Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: IAC Valve
But how is a step by step, that would like to say that the IAC offspring should be totally open for its subsequent installation and then make a reset to the ECU so that it recognizes it as a new information? Why if there is no reset of ECU this will take the positioning data of the bad sensor as support, being that it should be supported by the ROM of ECU and not the BLM? Is it like that or not? Or am I wrong?
Please answer me to get out of any doubt: Laugh:

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: IAC Valve
Hello, how are you, taking advantage of the theme of the IAC valve, what happens is that I have a 1998 Ford Ranger and recent IAC valve (but before the injector cleansing I did not have that problem) then reading I think that you could have barefoot the IAC valve.
I don't know if someone could have passed that problem before, so that I can advise me, since you want it to be necessary to change the valve
greetings

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: IAC Valve
The IAC valve does not work as the motor step by step.
The IAC, works by opening and closing the air passage alternately with a frequency that determines the ECU.
In the particular case of VW I do not remember well, but in the IAC you can vary the idle by means of a regulation by means of an Add OC screw.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: IAC Valve
But in the particular case of El Pointer and everyone for Daewoo (which was first of the subject) and Nissan the IAC if it is an 8 -bit step by step by step what is equivalent to 256 different positions which controls the ECU but in the case of VW I do not know in that case could not give you an exact statement or denial since I do not have accurate informationB) (although each brand has its way of controlling the additional air control valve) But in the end they all fulfill the same function.:) :) : Laugh: :) B)

Pancho_vt I do not know about your problem but I don't think the problem is so much on that side, there is some smoke (color) or some strange smell;) because As if, it is not an accurate diagnosis (it does not go to buy the IAC and the problem is not that).;)
