Toyota has presented the Camatte57S2, a concept car for children of family, convertible and sports vocation, in the children's life zone of the International Tokyo toy hall 2013, which has been held from June 13 to 16 at the Tokyo Big Sile.
The Camatte57S2 prototype is designed to gather parents and children in the creation of their ideal car. The vehicle seeks to transmit fun and fascination with cars to the drivers of the present and the future, offering parents and children the opportunity to experience together the emotion of driving, the personalization of vehicles and the passion for cars. Compared to the Camatte prototype exposed in 2012, Camatte57S offers an even greater and easier fan of customization possibilities.
Main characteristics:
1) The outer body of the vehicle consists of 57 removable, small and light panels, in order to easily customize color and design.
2) The convertible design offers a unique driving experience, while improving visibility and simplifies customization.
The seats are arranged in a triangular configuration, with a seat in front and two behind, to emphasize family intimacy and facilitate communication.
3) The accelerator and brake pedals, as well as the seats, can be adjusted so that a child can use them, while an adult helps with the steering wheel and brake from the back seat, to develop the child's driving skills.
