Everything in nature is cyclical as the strong Canarian pines demonstrate. They were damaged by the eruption of the volcano, but they have already begun to sprout the acicles.

It is curious how nature can surprise us. The Canarian pines closest to the southern crater of the La Palma volcano , which erupted on September 19, have begun to take their characteristic green tone, thanks to the first outbreaks of their acicles.

The image has been shared by the volcanologist Rubén López in his social networks, where he points out that the Canarian pines "are already beginning to recover their greenery after 8 months from the end of the eruption."

The Canarian pine is a particularly resistant to fire , this is due to the thickness of its cortex , as well as the ability to sprout from anywhere in the trunk , although it has lost all its branches. Therefore, you can survive serious fires.

Other peculiarities that make it resistant are its speed in growth and a very powerful main root .

With these outbreaks the road to the total recovery of the plant areas devastated by the volcano begins.
