The PCM cotrola the relay by sending a negative signal of 12V when the temperature exceeds 98 degrees.

You also have to check continuity after the PCM terminal to the revealing terminal in case you are not controlling the relay

The departure is controlled by the vehicle computer, the best thing you can do is make a parallel installation, to solve your problem you do not damage anything and it works without any problem.
