Pick up engine Pass oil to the radiator posted by manual-mecanica
How about MDM friends, good afternoon!
I tell you a situation that is currently happening to me with my pick -up truck isuzu mod. 93
This truck has been for almost 2 years, and recently I began to fail that oil is being passed to the radiator (to the cooling water system in general), thinking that the board of the head was possibly damaged, it takes it to the mechanical workshop, but there they told me that the joint was fine, since the oil was passing to the water and not the setback That the most likely is that the monoblock fissures in a cooling vein and that the safest thing is to change the full engine, take it to another workshop and told me something very similar. Do you think that what they tell me is what is really happening? I make them the observation that the truck I have continued to use, and it has not lost compression (power) and does not heat up more than normal, an acquaintance would suggest that he used some recallizer like the restaurants to see if with that it was "sealed" the fissure, but I have doubt that this is what is happening to the engine, that is why I ask for their support and comments. Salu2 !!

Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: Pick Up Motor Pass oil to the radiator
Greetings friend I tell you that I had the same problem with a Toyota FJ 40 and the 2F engine. And not one but 2 times during the 15 years that I had that vehicle. Well, it turns out that it was the package of the camera that was broken. Well I just had to change it and that was all. And just as you did not lose strength or overheat only the radiator passed. Well, notice that the radiator when the lid was removed (cold, fly) came out air bubbles by the radiator, of course it was better filling the complete radiator. Well I hope this information is useful to you.

If your Pick Up has AT (automatic transmission) it is very likely that you have to replace your radiator because if the oil inside this is from the automatic velocity box it will be damaged because the cooler (which is located inside the radiator's lid) probably this “´´picado´´ or corroid and be running towards the water and the opposite can occur to the opposite before it is quickly looking for it before it is further looking for it.

Well he does not necessarily have to change the radiator if the oil cooler is damaged, it can be repaired. And to get out of doubts, see what color is the oil that is on the radiator. If it is red, the friend is right, it is the cooler of the box that is donated and if it is black or gray it is the engine and ready with that tests of the city and take the corresponding action.
