Hello, I have an Xsara 2002 1.9D and a few days ago after a copious rain, I stayed on a street where there were about 15 cm of water, I did not know that the air intake was so down and it was full of water, apparently I did not reach water to the cylinder since the next day I start normally, but I am left a "intermittent" fault, say, since at times it stays at 3 cylids And the failure returns, the injectors told me that they were fine, which caught the attention that the spark plugs did not cut the current (probe with a lamp) and if I disconnect the food cable, the fault appears, I connect the cable again and the fault disappears. I say it because what is being raised is as if the vehicle was gasoline, with the theme of spark plugs. In a diesel that preheating spark plugs, or heaters, any of them fails is not a reason or minimally sufficient to fail that cylinder.
