Motor Compression Published by Manual-Mecanica
Greetings my question is the following; I repair the 1.8liters engine of my Toyota Corolla 1982.The car runs well but gave me to verify how much compression each piston gives me and I find that the measure that gives me flusta between 75 to 100psi when it should be between 128 to 168Psi. My question is: there is some form of me to correct this Power deficiency or I have to disassemble the engine again and repair it again.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Motor Compression
If your toyota does not consume oil ... you have to settle valves and valve seats ... and it is likely to increase the compression ...

It is true what Alonso says, but it would be good that you told us that you harsh the engine, and if you toured well the cylinder head bench and connecting rods.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Motor Compression
The full engine was repaired and all the torques were given as asked by the book (the specifications) in addition the lid of the block where the valves are taken to a specialized workshop to subtract and put the gummies of the new valves. Another symptoms that the engine makes me is that when I am trying to turn on the engine, it makes a noise as if it ran the cracking.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Motor Compression
mmm ... but your car is pulling blue smoke? the oil level decreases? If it decreases and does not leak due to packaging, seals etc .... it is likely to have too much light in the rings and that is why you have a low compression ... otherwise you would only have to settle valves and valve assemblies ...
