Greetings Jamoza, the idea of ​​shortening a shirt I do not see it viable, although it is true that the rings do not reach down in their route, the shirts are designed in the function of the block, if you place a smaller length you run the risk that moves with the movement of the piston, the same would happen if you place a longer (in the case you manage to fit it), the connecting rod could hit the same.
