Hi, I'm a mechanic and I can tell you that here in my city, Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico, those cars only work with original AC Delco spark plugs. If you use other brands, like NGK, even if they're new, they often fail and sometimes the car won't even start. Also, check the engine temperature sensor. Good luck.
