Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: IAC Valve
Hi Raponcho The IAC valve of the Pointer is electric, so it cannot manually calibrate it, it must be adjusted with vag-com but if your problem is that RPMs are high, you must check the ignition time (if it has a distributor) and verify the proper functioning of the engine temperature sensor (2-legged sensor is in the lower part of the flange).

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: IAC Valve
Hello Raponcho,
the temperature sensor has the function of informing the engine computer the temperature of the same with what is achieved that when starting in cold this valve is opened to a greater extent since the combustion in a cold engine is less efficient now the system that controls the engine has a function called Go-Home that adopts default values when this sensor fails so it is as if the engine tries to guess its temperature to adjust the rpms to adjust the rpms to adjust the rpms of Minimum march as well as the amount of fuel injected, so the faults associated with mentioned sensor are the rate (rise and drop of rpms) and high fuel consumption.

all the best

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: IAC Valve
Ok Thank you oskr

the car when it turns on it turns on well from 900 to 1000 rpm, but when I get going, the revolutions remain above 2000 and to decelerate it I have to take out the clutch stopping the car to lower the rpm and stay in 900 to

1000 Vàstago and after that would give him 3 llavazos and at 4 he linked it and be calibrated, but remains completely the same with the old vàlvula and the new

thank you very much. Greetings
