Good afternoon friends; my Cavalier has a problem where it doesn't idle at 600 RPM as it should; it idles at 1100, meaning it's revving high. I replaced the IAC valve and the problem persists. Can anyone help me figure out what to do? Thanks.

My friend, that means the intake system has an air leak somewhere. Check the manifold or one of the hoses

It is true Czech first that there are no false air inlets first, and then check the state of the motor temperature sensor.
