To verify the alternator with a polyimeter of the Chinese of these of 4 euros ok. You check the volts that must be around 12.5 12.7 under normal conditions with the van stopped. When you start the voltimeter of be going down to 10 volts or so, and once it started accelerating to 1000 revolutions more less has to give 13.8 to 14.2 volts without climbing there. Connecting the voltimeter is very easy, you put it on the 20V DC scale and the black clamp to the negative and the positive one to positive. Chao
Thank you very much Eldevictrus! I will try this, before removing the positive term of the positive, as I commented podos71, if with any of the fuses that consumption lowers (which will have to check it with the van off, right?), It will be what it comments on podas71, it will be a problem of the alternator and its diode plate ... ???
Thank you very much again, this weekend I will try to do it.
