Under the motto "Relive the passion", the specialists of Porsche Classic restored a 911 T Coupé, US version, 1973 on behalf of the Porsche Club of America (PCA).

For all lovers of classic Porsche vehicles, this has been one of the most spectacular actions: the restoration of an American version of the 911 Coupé T manufactured in 1973 on behalf of the Porsche Club of America (PCA), under the motto "Relive the Passion". The jewel has ended up raffling among the members of the PCA, whose winner was publicly presented at the Porsche parade in the US in August 2011. Now, this restored masterpiece can be admired in the special exhibition "60 years of the Porsche clubs", which takes place in the Porsche Museum and will last 3 months.

Porsche Club of America

60 years ago, on May 26, 1952, seven drivers passionate about the Porsche brand founded the Porsche Hohensyburg Club in Westfalia. According to its statutes, the common objective of this first club was to "unite all Porsche drivers in friendship and camaraderie." The creation of this first club was the first stone for a long -term success story, which today has become a global phenomenon. There are currently 640 recognized Porsche clubs, with approximately 181,000 members, from more than 75 countries.

Porsche clubs live the Porsche brand, seven days a week and 365 days a year. The commitment acquired by the club members, by registering voluntarily, makes them important ambassadors of the brand and therefore an integral part of the Porsche brand. For this reason, the Porsche Museum is honoring the anniversary of those clubs of the 60s with a special exhibition, which can be seen from May 26, until August 26. In it you can see photographs of the special cars of the club members, as well as documents and small exhibitions referring to their personal stories and experiences.
