Toyota Spain has finished the remodeling, conditioning and updating works of its automotive training located in San Agustín del Guadalix (Madrid).

These works have focused on improving the air conditioning of the building, updating their equipment and ensuring compliance with regulations in labor safety and hygiene, taking advantage to update their external appearance.

It is a building built in 2002 that has a constructed area of ​​two floors of 470 m2 each one plus an annexed warehouse of 50 m2; adding in total 990 m2.

This renewed automotive training has three theoretical training classrooms, equipped with roof projectors, screens and sound equipment on its upper floor; with capacities for 20 students in two of them and a maximum of 40 students in the third.

The ground floor has three practical and technical training classrooms equipped with elevators, alignment equipment and a complete gas extraction line. Additionally, it has partial and complete simulators that allow to reproduce the operation of the Toyota and Lexus models, sectioned pieces, models, Toyota smart tester and a wide range of components and spare parts that are used in the practical formation of network technicians.

automotive training activities taught Toyota Spain cover the needs of commercial, technical and skills areas, providing an average of 85 annual courses for 800 students, which added in 2012 more than 1,600 hours of training.

Additionally, the T-TEP program (Toyota Technical Education Program) has allowed Toyota to sign collaboration agreements with four professional training institutes, facilitating didactic and practical material and teaching specific training sessions about Toyota and Lexus for the students of said centers, many of whom carry out their practices in Toyota and Lexus dealers.

Badajoz: IES 'San José'
Barcelona: IES 'Esteve Terradas I illa'
Santiago de Compostela: Cifp 'Polytechnic of Santiago'
Sevilla: IES 'Polygon South'

A collaboration agreement with TKNIKA, Innovation Center for Vocational Training belonging to the Vice Ministry of Vocational Training and Permanent Learning of the Department of Education, Universities and Research of the Basque Government, has also been established.
