The premiere of the official Volkswagen Motorsport team at the 2013 World Cup in Rally is getting closer, and this year an amateur can live it in the first person, since Volkswagen raffles a trip to the Montecarlo Rally so that the best bids in the world can enjoy the WRC at the environment of the pilots and the entire Volkswagen Motorsport team.
To participate in this contest, fans must upload a photo of them posing with a helmet, or any object that looks like the "Rally The World" and thus demonstrate their ability and efficiency as an assistant. Among all the participants, a specialized jury, chaired by Expileot Jacky Ickx, will decide the winner, who will go to Montecarlo from January 18 to 20. The award includes flight, accommodation and meals, in addition to access to the rally with VIP category, which includes the possibility of discovering the Service Park and meeting the pilots and mechanics of Volkswagen Motorsport.
Volkswagen's career at the World Cup in Rallyes had its official start with the presentation of the team in early December, precisely in Montecarlo. The Volkswagen Polo R WRC was the main protagonist, along with the two couples of team pilots: the French Sébastien Ogier and their co-pilot Julien Ingrassia, and the Finns Jari-Matti Latvala and their co-pilot Miikka Anttila. Volkswagen arrives at the World Cup after practically a year and a half of preparation, and does so with the aim of fighting to achieve the greatest successes. The WRC pole has been specially designed to face this new challenge and in the different tests it has proven to be very competitive in all lands. The contest to find the best bids in the world will end on January 4.
