SLOWING PROBLEM PEUGEOT 306

Hello everyone:
I have a 1999 Peugeot 306. It has idling problems; sometimes it works fine, and other times it stalls and gets stuck. I took it to the Peugeot dealership, and they said everything was fine, but it's still doing the same thing. I'm hoping someone who has experienced the same issue can help me.

Hi mate, check that the temperature sensor is working properly and the vehicle speed sensor, also check all the vacuum hoses, good luck and regards.

How does it get stuck? The idle speed is regulated by the IAC valve using signals from the crankshaft position sensor and the temperature sensor. Check this valve; scanners generally don't detect it because the IAC valve is an actuator, not a sensor.

Do you mean the idle air control valve? This valve works; if I disconnect it
, the idle starts to malfunction. And is the crankshaft position sensor the one on the flywheel?
I think it also has a sensor on the intake manifold; I don't know if that one works.
