It's a bit embarrassing, but yes, I can't seem to remove the ignition coils to find the spark plugs on this car. After looking in the workshop manual, I'm even more confused because it says there's a screw to remove the coil where the spark plug is located, but this 2005 Nissan Almera 2.2 doesn't have that screw, and I don't know whether to pull, pry, or twist the part before I break it. I'd better ask.: blush: Thanks

It's strange, it should have a screw at the base of the coil
. Check if there's a lock or other device to release it.

I don't see the screw, unless you have to remove the entire black plastic casing on top.: S .

Hey friend, yes, you do have to remove the plastic casing that covers the motor. Don't try to remove the coil any other way, as you could damage it.
