Good compa, I leave you the explanation of the steps to follow in this case.
This means that the PCM of the car has detected that not all engine cylinders work properly.
The P0300 code indicates a multiple ignition failure or some cylinder without knowing what it is. If the last digit is a different number of zero, it indicates that cylinder is failing. For example, a P0302 code will tell you that the number two cylinder is failing. Unfortunately, a P0300 does not indicate the cylinder.
Symptoms
- Unstable engine
- Slow response
- Other symptoms may be present.
Possible causes
- defective spark plug cables.
- Bobbin or defective coil package.
- Defective oxygen sensor.
- Defective fuel injector.
- Burned or damaged escape valves.
- Defective catalytic converter.
- EGR valve blocked or covered.
- Defective CKP sensor.
- Scarce fuel.
- Damaged PCM.
- If there are symptoms, such as the unstable engine, check all wiring and connectors that lead to the cylinders (that is, ignition spark plugs).
- As a suggestion, change the spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor lid and the rotor (if applied).
- Otherwise, check the coils.
- Check if the catalyst is in poor condition. If it smells like rotten eggs in the escape, the catalytic converter needs to be replaced.
- Check the fuel injectors
- Check the air flow sensor
- Check the EGR valve in itself.
I hope it serves you, greetings
