If your engine is an RHR reference, you have a Siemens Sid 803 injection.
And the P 0409 code tells you that you have the EGR valve defective, which is not the cause of not working.
In this case, motor diagnosis is not enough. It should enter "habitaculum" and observe in parameters the following:
Recognition Synchronization of camshaft: Yes/No
Calculator: Blocked/unlocked
Learned keys: 1/2
Coded keys: key 1 yes/no, key 2 yes/no.
