C3 wiper does not work

3 years ago, the front wiper of my C3 1.4 HDI, stopped working during a storm.
In the workshop they changed my command, because that is the breakdown they located.
Everything went well until yesterday, when the breakdown was reproduced.
The previous repair cost me about € 300, so now, with this crisis I do not see myself in a position to pay so much, so I intend to connect the clean engine directly to the battery, and install a switch inside to activate it by bridging the wheel command.
How do you see it, is it feasible, any recommendation or warning?
