Good afternoon,
can someone tell me if it's normal for a car's steering wheel to turn fewer times from center to left than from center to right? If not, how can I fix this problem? My tie rod ends are all new.

Thanks.

No, that's not normal; that's a problem with the steering box or the steering shaft.

How do I fix this? What do I need to loosen and tighten? What's the correct procedure?

How do I correct the steering on my car? One of the tie rod ends won't thread anymore, and if I adjust the steering wheel, it turns more to one side than the other.

Vergara, that's not normal... if this is happening, there would be less turning angle to the left, and this should be the same on both sides. You'd have to check the stop on each side, or if the left side isn't reaching its stop, something is stopping it on the rack or the worm gear... Regards.

First, check where the prismatic arm is and make sure the splines aren't twisted. If they aren't, you'll need to roughly center the steering wheel by counting the total turns and dividing by two. Then, set the steering to the middle number obtained, remove the prismatic arm, straighten it, and test it. It's a bit tedious, but it works.
