FAILURE VALVULA OPEL Vectra 2006 CDTI Published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello friends.
The problem I have is that in my 150CV CDTI vectra. When floor thoroughly (I have automatic change) I turn on the dashboard light and enters a fault mode, limiting the power of the engine. The failure, checked in workshop, is the piece that opens and closes the butterfly valve at the air exit of the intercoooler air, located in the engine. It is a fairly frequent failure and is worth more than 400euros. My question is whether it is worth dismantling the piece and trying to clean the dirt inside, in case it is pens, or it is wasting time, since it could be the motorch that acts on the valve. Thank you all. Greetings from Barcelona.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Broad Vectra Vectra 2006 CDTI Valve failure
Friend is never lost with trying, it is cleaned to do before buying any spare, but what does not work is the motor you have to check the connector first and then replace it, luck

Cleaning would help you only when there is no control in idle.
In your case there would be a need to verify that the feeds arrive and if so, replace it
there is also the possibility, to reprogram it (only if there is no internal damage of the piece)
