Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: Chevrolet Spark 1.0
I'll let you know how it goes when I install the other throttle body. The idle speed is really high. Everything was checked, even the power steering sensor, which could be the problem, but everything seems to be OK. I'll keep you posted. Cheers.

1300 to 1600 RPM is not good at all. Check for air leaks or TPS advance problems; I think that's the issue. You must be using a lot of fuel with an idle like that.

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: Chevrolet Spark 1.0
Electronic accelerator or cable? ... If it is probably the TPS is throwing a high voltage in idle, the computer reads it as if it is accelerating and the revolutions are altered. The TPS generally give 0.4V (idle) to 4.2V (WOT), although they are approximate values but serve a lot as reference.

My car had exactly the same problem and it was the TPS precisely, it gave me 3.2V in idle. If you have multimeter it is very easy to try them. Success in your friend repair:)

I almost forgot, if there are broken vacuum lines connected after the throttle body, it means a free air intake and also simulates the effects of having the throttle open.

Good afternoon, I work at a dealership.

I think the best course of action would be to perform idle speed relearn using the Tech2 (Chevrolet scanner).
