Diesel particle filter published by manual-mecanica
Friends someone has had experience with the particle filter that the Chevrolet Cruze 2.0 has mounted on the exhaust line. The witness witness was lit and the regeneration has apparently interrupted more than 2 veses as far as this is almost normal in this type of cars but the strange thing is that the witness of Averias thousand was also on and after walking it for a while it is turned on on the central screen of the instrument board the code 84. What is done in these cases? If someone has happened to someone, I would appreciate your experience. AAA and if someone gives me a fact for the distributor of an excellent Hyundai. where I get it or failing which could be adapted. It has G4DJ engine.

Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: Diesel Particula Filter
The particle filter should generally regenerate each oil change and this can be done through the software of the diagnostic equipment or the vehicle is regenerated after traveling without interruption between 20 and 40 km on the road. In addition, to avoid this filter, it is necessary that the oil that is changed complies with the manufacturer's specifications, since it must be low in ashes. On the other hand, Code 84 is turned on because the oil change notice has to be restored on the board or display. It can also be done with the scanner or many cases can be done manually. I leave you a league to check if you can do it yourself.

Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: Diesel Particula Filter
Hello tractopesado thank you very much for your information. The truth is that this cross does not leave option since the particle filter was already very obstructed and I had to disassemble it to clean it manually and even so inevitably I had to make the forced regeneration with the brand's scanner. And if you are right. It is a very sensitive engine to oil changes, it must necessarily be the oil that meets the requirements required by the manufacturer.
