Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: PMS in compression or escape?
Hgola Wal7er.
When pistons 1 and 4 are in PMS the camshaft in one of the two is in the "junction", that is, the cams are pressing the valves, the escape race has just finished and admission begins, both valves are open, the compression piston is the opposite.

Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: PMS in compression or escape?
Hi Miguel, thank you for your previous answer. I ask you a question:

according to Isuzu's workshop manual, it tells me that there are 2 positions to guide the distributor rotor according to piston No. 1 or n ° 4 as long as one of them is in PMS in compression race, well according to the manual this is determined by synchronizing the crankshaft with the camshaft and giving that option, will it be possible? Or I will be wrong or maybe my English fails me to see the manual: Angry: . greetings

Hello Wal7er
, you are not wrong, the best way to synchronize the crankshaft with the camshaft is putting the piston 1 in the exact PMS, as this is synchronous with the 4, they will be in the PMS, it must be determined with the camshaft which is in compression, the cams that are in the vave Another piston.
Luck.

Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: PMS in compression or escape?
Solved. Mount the complete distribution again, synchronize, change valves, valve stamps, Mount Cuatata (Head Cylinder) with their respective joint, all ready oil, water, battery, ignition Yy and perfect light, there are no leaks, good compression. I congratulate myself. Hahaha to be the first time I do this, without having studied anything mechanics only with the workshop manual found on this page, and some data provided by friends of this page. Thanks_ I seriously think of studying mechanics.
