Corsa Ignition Key Published by manual-mecanica
Hello, I'd like to remove the ignition switch from my Corsa, but I don't understand how, to replace it with a new one.
An illustration would be helpful.
I'm somewhat mechanically inclined, but I can't figure out how to remove it from the steering column.
Thank you in advance.

Hi, those screws usually don't have heads. You have to remove them with a hammer and a center punch, striking them counterclockwise. When you put in the new ones, you'll see they have a hexagonal head. Position them correctly and tighten them a little at a time until the screw head breaks off

If you want to remove the ignition cylinder, it has a hole on one side. Insert something pointed and start turning it towards the ignition. You'll notice it sinks in a little more and you can pull it out. If you want to remove the lock, you have to remove the headless screws
