Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: White Smoke
Hello. Here I make my contribution I hope it helps:
the consumption of oil can be given in the following parts:

1. segments or rings spent by the time of use or by applying additives that promise to repair the loss of compression but what they do is paste the rings and worsen the consumption of oil

2. By stamps and guides of the valve

3. By the PCV valve. Sometimes we do not pay attention to it but she is a cause of this consumption and can complicate us when she does not take

it into account:

Measure compressions of each cylinder and compare with manufacturer's specification.

If there are low compressions, use the leak test to verify the percentage of losses and through the blowing air to pressure that is supplied for this test determine the point where it is if it is if.

If these preubes pass them without problems, then you have problems with the PCV valve that is mounted on the upper engine cover or valve cover as we know it here. Greetings and I hope it helps you

It happens more often than you think since improving the compression of the cylinder head
