Automatic transmission published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello friends, I have a Daihatsu with automatic transmission and need to identify in the valve set which corresponds to that of the reverse, I have 6 of which 2 they have a cable and four have 2, when the march will act, should any voltage to any voltage should be reached (all have 1.3 to 1.5V)? I have tried to identify it for the sound that it should do when it is operated, but it is very soft and I do not disting them well. Can anyone help me if there is a way to find her? Thanks in advance and greetings

That I know all the reversals in general are 100% hydraulic you have to try another valve bank and if you could check all clutchs with air

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Automatic transmission
Greetings, the way to review a fault is to look for the diagram to locate the functioning of the solenoids since some are modulated as the Q control the TCC, others apply mass as well as 12V, I have not seen a solenoid for retro. Solenoid failures most times gives fault code. What problem does your box present?

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Automatic transmission
Before trying to repair a transmission you must have knowledge of what you are doing, automatic transmissions bring solenoids but are not specifically to activate a speed. All transmissions work based on oil pressures and the manual valve is responsible for selecting the speed to be applied. If your transmission has problems, do not try to identify specific solenoids because the changes forward makes them through the oil discharges with part of the change solenoids, the line pressure is almost always regulated with the modulation by pulse width of the line pressure solenoid and the clutch block of the torque converter clutch does so by means of the lockup solenoid.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Automatic transmission
The fault that presents the scheme when I put the reverse produces a strong blow when it hooks it, I am waiting for the filter to change with the oil, but I thought that with the solenoid there was a valve that could be cleaned or something so taking advantage of the fact that the carter was out, thanks greetings,
