Jaloneo and loss of power published by manual-mecanica
Greetings, I have a 2002 - 1.4 Renault Symbol and I must call the experts ...
1) The car turns on normal and starts without problems ....
2) After a few minutes a strange pull begins ...
3) I turn off the car and turn it on again and everything returns to the point (1) and remains in this cycle (1.2y3)

bone when turning off and turning on, returns to normality and minutes later returns with the failure

... Failure
1) I take out the 2y3 spark plugs and are working, since the car goes out
2) Saco the 1y4 spark plugs and the sparks are noticed but do not work (since the pull is maintained). I mean, removing these cables, nothing happens. (being failing).
CONCLUSION: When the 1y4 coils occurs, they stop working but it is current.

What did I do?
1) I thought they were both spark plugs and changed them together with cable and coil
2) I thought they were injectors and send them to clean and filter new
3) I thought that the gasoline pump and change the stack and the gasoline filter

what I miss me is that going out and immediately turning the car ... it is burn the fault but return to time ..

doubts:
1) Is it possible that the spark is weakened in the spark plugs. Because of a problem in the Ecu or Center?
2) If an example temperature, oxygen, lambda probe or even catalyst. Because it only affects the operability of the 1y4 spark plugs. Is that possible?
3) If it is the ECU because it would be official when you turn on and turn off the car just for a while?
4) It is possible that the coil is damaged and just work for a while until the car turns off and turned on?
I have not yet scanned it, since I have a bit far away and in my town they do not have Renault scanner

if Aluien can help me I appreciate it in advance ...

Manual-Mecanica response on the re: dial and loss of power
Dear colleague, very good description of the problem, very detailed. In the first place in no car with electronic switchboard you can remove a spark plug cable to see if that cylinder works without allowing the high voltage to be discharged; Because of doing it the secondary or high voltage winding is downloaded to the primary and can affect the ignition module or the switchboard. Whenever you remove a cable you must place a spark plug in it and with a good dough try if the spark is good and strong (ray or lightning spark) if it is reddish or weak is already indicating a failure. Cylinders 1 and 4 work with the same coil, but if you already changed that coil and the fault is still weird. If the fault takes time to be on it could be that the valves of those cylinders are left without light and lose compression, but I see it more difficult. What you can do is measure compression of the cylinders with cold engine and after heating and comparing. With everything, an ignition problem seems much more likely, when you changed the 1-4 coil improved something or in the entrance did it continue the same ???

Thanks for answering ...

change the coil and the continuous failure the same.
I'm going to measure compression to verify that ...

Manual-Mecanica response on the re: dial and loss of power
Hello everyone .... I also have a 2002 symbol (8 valves)
with the difference that was working properly and from one moment to another lost all the power, but I do not go out, if I revolutionize it begins to bell If I disconnect only the 3 there if it goes out, I have looked in all known forums and technicians, and they talk to me about burned cylinder head, valves and even more the! calculator!.
Thanks for your comments and I will continue looking for the cause and the solution in both cases, greetings.
P.S. Here in Colombia it is referenced as Renault Symbol Rte (8 v.) ... thanks

The computer does not control the spark but if it controls the passage of the coil, the captor controls the ground cut to jump from the spark for all the cylinders, what you can check is whether when the fault makes the injectors have a pulse to rule The general, that will vary according to the Mounted Injection System, can be working well but the signal may not come mounted on the vehicle.
