Problem with the Honda Civic 94 published by Manual-Mecanica
I have a Honda Civic 94 that discharges the battery during the night
the battery is new the load bulb that ignites an overshadow even when the car is off
the alternator, the starter engine, the high
and low lights the board I have it down and keep marking the 11volts.
I have the positive battery terminal to the positive cable of the vehicle. If everything is disconnected the voltage must be or volts. That someone of an idea that can be.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Problem with the Honda Civic 94
Greetings by eduamiring, the correct way to measure a consumption is to measure the current, you can use a tester that measures for the minimum 10amp in DC, it must be measured in series with the battery (between the terminal and the battery) you must be careful with the measurements of this type and that an error is paid expensive, once the tester can be connected you can investigate taking off Once and observing if consumption goes to zero, acceptable consumption must be 0.2amp (the clock, the alarm module, the radio). Before starting the test first measures the battery voltage without turning on the car (it must be at 12.4v), light the car without lighting lights (it must be at 13.8V), light the lights and accessories, it should not come down from 13V, if this occurs there is deficiency in the alternator. Any questions tell us.
