Chevrolet Aveo, accelerates alone

Hi, I have a 2007 Aveo with the same problem. It revs up on its own whether it's cold or hot, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. I've already replaced the IAC valve about four times (with both generic and original parts), the air intake cable, and had the injectors cleaned. I've taken it to three mechanics (including the one at Chevrolet) and nothing has worked. It's fixed for a few weeks and then it starts revving up again at idle. I don't know what to do or where to take it anymore. I've even thought it might be the computer. Please help!

Did you check the oxygen sensor or the catalytic converter? It may be clogged.

Hi friend, the solution to my problem, after changing the IAC valve, cleaning the throttle body, and changing the TPS, and the problem persisted, was to change the air hose. It had a small tear in the bellows, which I replaced, and it never accelerated on its own again. There's also a lot of information on the Aveo Club Venezuela website; you can become a member there. Hehehehehe, I just came to read the forum messages today, and it's always the same with Aveos. I'm from Maracay, Venezuela, and a lot of Aveos or Sparks come in here with that problem. It's the hose in the Aveo, and in the Spark, it's the throttle body that throws codes and causes them to accelerate or decelerate on their own. Well, thank God you found your problem. Greetings.
