Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: 24V/12V transformer
This is the best response to your consultation since the ideal is not to handle the original installation of a vehicle, in addition to the advantage that you can connect (apart from connecting your windshield wiper) any other device that works with 12V from that voltage converter
Greetings and luck !!!

Wolfi77 wrote: Greetings Galguitos, there are some devices that are responsible for reducing the voltage of your battery from 24V to 12V, as it is a reduction Search on eBay "24V to 12V Step Down" there are several devices of several power that can be provided from 5 AMP to 30 AMP (recommended the 30 to work on the power stage), so you work directly with 24v Prematurely one of the batteries, I hope it helps you. Look if the alternator has neutral output (from the center of the stator star).
There you are going to have half of the alternator's output voltage (14 volts)
you will not have to spend and do it very fast.

To the order, more than looking for is always using the right words, most times in English are diversity of responses to our incognites.
