Tacuma temperature drops from 130 km posted by Manual-Mecanica
I would like someone to advise me. I have a 2002 tacum, up to 110 to 120 km/h, the temperature is maintained, the passing of 130 km/h, begins to lower the needle of the temperature, until marking low 'c. When the velusity goes down this begins to climb until it reaches half and normalize.

Are you talking about the Daewoo Tacuma, or the Toyoya Tacoma? In the tacoma, if I'm not mistaken, the fan is moved by the engine, and has a nucleus with a thermal clutch. If that clutch is broken, it is usually fixed. That may happen to you, and for that reason, when the fan is fixed, against more you will accelerate the car, more cool.

Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: Tacuma temperature drops around 130 km
Greetings Cesar, there may be several causes from the absence of the thermostat in the engine to a fixed high -speed electrventilator that does not turn off until the engine turns off, to check the thermostat, take the time it takes to reach the temperature needle in half, obviously with a cold engine (which has been resting during the night), most of the cars take it from 10 to 15min to reach the point, if it does not reach the point, if it does not reach the point. It lacks thermostat or is damaged; With the electro there are models that turn the speed low when they light the A/Cy the high when the engine temperature rises, check if this is fulfilled in your vehicle, tell us how it went.

Very well, thanks, I will be reviewing the thermostat first and secondly a fixed electro -ventilator.
