Problem with Pointer published by Manual-Mecanica
Good morning, someone who can guide me please, I have a 2003 Pointer that has a peculiar fault, at the time of turning off the car is thousandsome of second on and the engine trembles, I already check the spark and it is not because of there is, I detect that the problem is gasoline, when I turn it off it continues to inject, I do not know if it has a relay that controls the flow of the fuel or the flow of the fuel.
Someone who can give me your point of view will thank you.

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: Problem with Pointer
Greetings Randy, it seems that it was an injector with a leakage, when removing the key the current is removed to the coils and ECU, if there are traces of fuel in the admission or camera the hot engine will make that another combustion process is given again, until it ends up burning any trace of fuel, in these cases I recommend doing cleaning, balance test and leakage to the injectors, also check the level of the refrigerant, Radiator, everything related to motor refrigeration, checks the canister (collects the evaporations of the fuel tank and releases them in the admission through an electrovalve) that is not full of fuel, finally clean the EGR (controls the escape emissions that re -enter the admission, help to keep the temperature of the combustion low), check this and check this and check this and check this

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: Problem with Pointer
Thank you very much for responding to my problem, I already made injectors twice, we already check the canister and it is working well, and the EGR already cleans it, still the fault continues, with a test lamp check the injection when stopping the car comes signal to the 4 injectors when fuel arrives at the cameras obviously the siclo makes.

Hello, check the progress to the ignition since if it is very avansado it tends to make that fault because the engine tends to turn in the opposite direction

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: Problem with Pointer
Greetings Randy, right now some cars when turning the key to turn off the vehicle continue to last more milliseconds working (example the fiat point even seconds of off is heard the acceleration body moving), now what you have to see if this turned off is soft or sudden, I would try to scan the vehicle visualizing the sensors in real time and turning it out trying to see before the connection is losing the connection if any connection leaves the connection. You can do a test of turning off the vehicle by the ECU, removing the fuse but I do not recommend this because some may burn, it is not the same to turn the ECU key as to remove the current by the fuse, just like a repro of the car they have a fixed cable to the battery and another to the switchera. Trying to disconnect the bomb I see it unusable since the pressure falls slowly. If you want to do a test to discard injector Rocio you can try to wire all the positives of the injectors to a relia and try to disconnect it manually or pranch from a positive key. Personally, I prefer to investigate the origin of the problem and correct it. Greetings.
