Current cut published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello Friends of the Forum I am here again to ask you for advice ..... I want to install a short current to an Izusu trooper with injection. What do you recommend to me only the coil or the computer? What would better?

Attentive to your comments .....

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Short current
Greetings Kike, in my thinking I would install it by cutting the current to the coil, some ecus are somewhat delicate, apart from that at the time of a problem it is easier to verify spark than the ECU.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Short current
That is correct kike if you cut only the current of the coil and not of the module, it would happen the same with an indifferent carbure engine of which cuts, now in injection systems such as your vehicle you have to cut the current to the module that activates the coil, this same module is the one that sends the synchronization pulses to the ECU to indicate the moment to inject, therefore when disconnecting the modulus And therefore the pulses are not generated so that the ECU activates the injectors, currently with the new vehicles already this is not possible since the ECU manages both the ignition and the injection.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Short current
Hi Kike

I have a great doubt, if you mean the trooper, this comes with a oil engine, what motor version do you mean? It would be good that you clarify this
since if it is the oil version it does not carry coils.
To avoid conflicts between the ECU and with any other sensor I recommend you, buy a HELLA cutting key.
This cutting key is direct to the battery and settles inside the cabin, cut the current and take the key and take it with you, when you want to use plugs and everything is in use, it is very cheap it costs 12 dollars and they sell it in any car boutique
