Manual-mechanics' response on the topic Re: carburetion
I'd like to know who can help me. I have a problem with the carburetor on my 1992 Peugeot 405 GL. Two hoses, apparently part of the engine breather, have been disconnected, and I don't know how to get them working again because I can't find a wiring diagram showing how they're connected. Thanks to anyone who can help

Your problem is definitely with the timing; have it checked again because when they changed the seal, it's very possible they didn't install it exactly as it should be. Good luck

Manual-mechanics' response on the topic Re: carburetion
If everything looks fine with the carburetor and it was only removed and reinstalled, I wouldn't worry about it. If it's working normally, opening and closing as it should, check for air leaks. If you do find an air leak, I'd rule out the carburetor and focus more on the valve clearance, especially if it's running on CNG.

Manual-mechanics' response on the topic Re: carburetion
Hi, thanks for your reply.
After a lot of work, I finally got it to switch to gas while driving, but it won't start on gas again when I stop. Could it be the valve clearance? It has a hydraulic lifter, and it was working perfectly until about half an hour before I changed the seal. I'll try it. Thanks again.
