Carburetion. Published by manual-mechanics
Hi, I have a 1995 Orion and I can't get the carburetor to work properly. It's not giving me the speed it did three days ago, and it feels sluggish. I don't know if it's a timing issue or a problem with the accelerator pump. Also, it won't start on CNG, and when I do manage to get it running, it runs poorly. I don't know what the problem could be. It starts right up on gasoline without any problems, and then runs fine, but it lacks acceleration and top speed; it struggles to reach 80 km/h, which it didn't do before. I'm baffled. Thanks in advance.

Just ask whoever did the conversion, that's all. There must be something covered up or defective

What did you do to it? Just adjust the carburetor? Why are you saying it's a carburetor problem?

Only the auxiliary camshaft seal was replaced. Before that, everything worked fine; it might idle roughly sometimes, but the car was a rocket. After the seal was replaced, the problem started, and that's when I thought it could be the carburetor, since the timing seems correct. You turn the key and it starts right up and idles fine
