Dear Sirs:
I have checked that the crankshaft position sensor, at least externally, is not damaged; the contacts were lubricated. After checking and repairing the starter motor, the problem persists. I have noticed that the fault manifests itself when the ignition is turned on and the advance relay on the injection pump is not felt to be working.
