Light Service Sun Fire published by Manual-Mecanica

How I have a 2000 Sunfire and does not bring the catalyst and therefore I have the check Engine always on, I do not know how Check Engine could go out, since before it was not on and there is some type of mechanism to make it not turn on.

Hello friend, don't you bring catalyst, or have you taken it out?
If you do not bring it, it is certain that you have some other problem that can be, a defect in the Lambda probe, or some sensor.

I am not in mind the system of this particular car, `but it is a model with 2 probes (one before and another after the catalyst) if you can turn the check, since the 2nd probe will be giving an incorrect reading.
