How to remove neon 97 crankshaft pulley?

I have a problem with the distribution strap, but to change I can not remove the policy of the crankshaft, can anyone help me with the subject please?

You need a pulley puller, which you can get at any mechanic's tool store

That, or once you loosen the damper's center bolt, tap it gently with a hammer and gently pry it out while tapping. The best thing is an extractor as Inge says, but try it; they are stuck and hard, but they come out.

I appreciate the input, but I already tried hitting it and using the extractor, and it seems that pulley was born that way. I'm going to get a homemade extractor soon, and I'll let you know the results. I'll also send you photos of it. Thanks

Hi.
Crankshaft pulleys are usually seized, so it's normal that it's hard to remove. Apply some liquid or compound to loosen seized parts, then use a good puller, and you should be good to go. If all goes well, perform manual maintenance on the adjustment areas to prevent it from happening again.
