Much smoke when starting diesel pole published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello, I have a 19th -year -old pole pole of 12 years ago with 2000km and when starting it in cold, a lot of gray smoke and hit or dugs when walking, then hot it was very good like a shot. I think it can be an injector problem. Heater has new ones. I would like to know if any or understanding could advise me to do, or tell me where the problem can be. If it is one of the Ijectors if it is easy to change them and the possible cost of their repair, where they could repair them. A greeting and thanks.

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: a lot of smoke when starting Diesel Pole
hi how are things. What I think that before verifying the injectors would be convenient, I think that the fault could be in an excessive presence of oil in the combustion camera, which can cause a valve seal in poor condition, this effect makes the oil introduced into the seat and try a badly sealed the camera and therefore an incomplete combustion and resulting in smoke in the discharge, this happens until the engine is completely better performance. How is oil consumption?
I await an answer.
luck...........

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: a lot of smoke when starting Diesel Pole
Good morning Victor, I also thought that it would be an oil problem when we buy it, but it makes 7000km that changes the oil and has no drop of consumption. I think it may be more of the diesel (injectors) because when that smokerier stain under the exhaust tube, stain that disappears if it would cost it more or not the soil mark would go, it seems more bad gasoil burnt. I have also thought if it could be a problem of tuning. (The poorly placed distribution belt) I nose when they were canbiated. I think it can be injectors, because it seems to me that the deposit spends a little fast, gathering it with the Focus TDCI that we have as a daily car to work and long trips, we have the pole to walk around. Tube six years ago with the same engine and made 400000km in ten years without any problem, in fact I think it is still working. Thank you for your Alluda. A greeting waiting for a toucronsejo.

hello. Well, it is pleasant to know that you have already started with what you point out as possible failure, and if you point to the injectors the cause of your anomaly, it is a job that you must do it in the test bench. Injectors may not be spraying or atomizing the fuel and producing that effect on cold games. It would be advisable to disassemble and send them to a specialized injection system service and most likely you have to change nozzles. For the installation you must be caught with the injector adjustment zone in the butt disassemble the two shallows they have for seal in the butt and change them for new ones and the most important thing is to give it the corresponding eltor.
Well if you do it you tell us ...

Hello superfocus.
Victor has given you excellent tips, I would add to those that you review valve calibration and air filter status.
Luck.
Miguel.
