Start vehicle from the engine.

Greetings!!

I wanted to start a car from the engine, and I believe if it is gasoline, I must give current to the connection of the battery coil, and then to the starter of the starter engine.

And if it is a diesel, it should give current to the pump strangler, then to the heaters, and finally to the starter of the starter engine.

Would these be the right steps, or do you know another better way?

It all depends, we need to saver what type of vehicles are, that is, carbonated or injected in the case of the defeator and the diesel fuel injection system is with normal pump, both, if they are Bosch give me a little more data.
